Activities

Recreational activities are available year-round and very convenient to Pheasant's Roost. Fishing and Hunting attracts thousands of visitors each year. Every spring, streams are stocked with trout. There is also an abundance of bass and a variety of other fish in the Clarion River and nearby streams. The White Tail Deer that populate the area is often considered to offer the best hunting in the nation.

Others are attracted by the hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, scenic lookouts, and horseback rides. The area also offers go-cart racing, bumper-boats, miniature golf and a driving range. In the summer months, you may want to float down the Clarion River's cool relaxing water in an inner-tube or raft. You can also rent canoes in several locations down the river.

It's never hard to find a scenic picnic spot along the river or a large rock to relax on and take in the sites. You won't want to miss visiting in the fall months when the fall foliage is at its breathtakingly beautiful peak.
